i think i can get the background and foreground shot, but the middle ground is pretty impossible...

and the scene is going to be different making it even harder .. ah well

Making that one single image would be that easy, but millions of images animating...omg idk.

Wouldn't be too hard, but it would probably come out crappy (unless you have 3d models of all the buildings / terrain etc.

Which I am sure they did, judging on the fact that all the buildings are the same and aligned the same way for the most part.

inception was an amazing movie and how they made that i have no idea.

you'd need aerial views and street view shots of the entire street. If you had a crane and a DSLR.

just wondering, could you take the photo of a normal street, then take a differant angle and postion it so it would look like it did in the inception photo. Almost like a mirror... Just a thought it would be a amatures way of doing it but it would be better then nothing...
