i can haz tutorial
or a simple explanation i can work with that too actually the simple explanation would be better

How do i go about getting a shiny or paint like feel like this?
you know without pentoooling bacause i can figure out the right shades or a tutorial for pentooling that would be pretty helpful too

No tutorials for that as far as I'm aware. You'd need to get into a mentoring class if you want to learn quickly how to do that. Otherwise you'll just have to practise with the pentool and gradients.

My advise to you is spend time working on single element at a time. So spend a while making a sphere look good, then spend a while making a ribbon look good. Then from the you just copy and paste.

The coloring/shading just looks like a circle with a white shape on top of it with lowered opacity.

i didnt want a link to a tutorial but making one or telling me what to do but that was helpful too
should be the same principal used in drawing or painting so i should get this quickly enough

The only person here who knows how to do them properly is kiki, and he learnt it from Dyst, and I highly doubt he'll make a tut.

And it's not as simple as drawing and painting. It's all about the pentool which is nothing like that. Master the pentool then you can attempt things like this.

Just experiment with different ideas and concepts. Even if you don't get the right outcome, you might learn something.

Yeah pretty much. Just make normal sigs, with cool pentooled shapes. And when your confident you got the skills needed try attempting an all pentool piece.

i have basic highlights (like the reflections in your eyes, that i think)
so just experiment with different things
