Cant Get on Black Ops Multiplayer!!

I have been playing black ops multiplayer since it came out and since of 2:00pm central today, I have been getting a error message saying

"the call of duty black ops server is not available at this time". Please visit Call of Duty: Black Ops for updates.

I was in the middle of playing a game with the ************* and then that happened, is there any possible connection between the two?. I have tried reinstalling the multiplayer on steam and it still did not work and it gets that same message, so I cant get past the main multiplayer screen can some please help me??!!!!

Umm...right click on ur steam > settings and take a look if ur banned or not.

Me 2 i got banned from using catalyst.

So im guessing we're boned. Time to fork out another $60 and create a new steam account.

Its not even that tough to go positive in multiplayer. It was just nice to use when someone else thought they were the shit.

Just buy a russian key, cheap and works fine
