[Idea]Classes,Teachers Wanted?

hey can we also have seminars for non-language specific topics. I'd would love to sit through a seminar on checksum model recognition or present something on Object oriented design.

Yes, it sounds like a great addition.
I will begin setting up the accounts fo each language and general seminars.

lol, just kiddin' anyway, I support this all teh way. I want to get into C++ or expand on my VB knowledge

NextGen I would LOVE to teach noob lessons in vB and C++ Like the basic I/O, classes, data, file I/O, variables, logic. I would be willing to take two hours every week to do live lessons. I think this could severly increase programming section traffic. We could probably create an actual college course from all the people here. (Wesley )

Uhm, who exactly are you? I haven't seen that many helpful posts or any code snippets from you, mostly trolling messages.

Oh wow... you posted that in General ummm... okay. Damn now I'm nervous. Idk if I'm ready to teach even a basic course. How exactly will we be doing this? Programs? websites. Getting people interested in programming is hard enough. Keeping them interested for 45-60 min... idk...

This is actually one of the best ideas I've seen pop up on MPGH, and it was made by one of the few people I believe could follow through with it.

All the instructors will get a cash course in using the web meeting software, including the chalkboard, Document sharing (homework, or what not) , Push Sites , Screen sharing, Public and Private discussions. and the few other important features, like how to schedule a class. etc. etc.
