/connect support in next patch!
Just spoke with PCDev,

Looks like /connect support will be included in the upcoming patch. You guys will be able to connect directly to servers by specifying IP and Port, should you so desire. For those of you who prefer Server Browsers, improvements have been made on that front as well, also included in the upcoming patch.

More details still to come. Stay tuned.

They said they will put top-priority over console patch to fix pc game.
I don't totally trust them but well... we'll see.

They need to re-enable more commands, like r_filmtweaks and sv_cheats so we can god damn use them for movie.cfg's etc or atleast enable them in theatre mode. What about bind aswell that's the stupidest thing they removed yet.

agreed. why in the hell was it necessary to remove bind? its still in the config, its just a pain in the ass to have to do it from there.

They should also re-add seta, set and vstr. Well maybe not vstr but it was sure epic :]. Atleast add wait xD

Yh /reconnect is a good idea. What about ping 150 < etc in the server browser; why the hell did they remove that -.-.

hope there fix the slowly master server load in the next patch :/
