I think I might remove those but Scope deisgn? good or bad?

It's pretty cool, but as you said the engage and safe is a little weird.

Change it a bit i think, It's not bad but it looks kinda weird.

Wait it's possible to animate textures? Oh and just take out the engage and safe thing. It will get in the way from seeing enemies.
