Update drivers at Nvidi*****m or if you have GameBooster, click on drivers in the control panel and it will take you directly to the download right for you (auto-detected by gameBooster). This helped me so much, I hope this helps you too.

Well first off update your drivers, then try defragmentating your game, you can do this with game booster as it has the direct links to nVidias drivers etc. and it can also defragmentate your game, the defragmentation worked for me. (google gamebooster)

sometimes people have anti strophic or something on and anti aliasing
put them both off that will help alot too

No that would be picmip and resolution.

Athropic filtering has a very little effect in performance from what I have seen, but AA will kill you. Turn it off for a big boost. Especially with a less powerful CPU.
