My computer needs help
so yea this is what my computer is.

1> AMD Anthlon(TM) II x4 Processor (4CPUs), ~3.0GHz
2> 4GB DDR3 RAM
3> NVIDIAGeforce 7300 gs graphic card
4> 500GB sata harddrive
5> and a good motherbored i dont know name.

if anyone knows the game crysis , it was a game back in 2008 which is still probably best graphic game still. and i tried to run it and i got like 4 fps. !!!! seriously when my dad had his computer excatly like mine back in 2007 but with a 8600gts he got like 20fps WDF i mean video card isn't that much difference. does anyone have like a explanation or solution on why my computer is so slow even though it has good enought things on it

The 8600 GTS was a fucking monster in its time. And crysis runs FAAAAR more off of the GPU than the CPU, so the more powerful the GPU the better. And the 8600GTS is far better than the 7300 too.

yes i know but the thing is my dad used the 7300 back in 2007 and it was fine when i raned crysis on it like at least 12fps on the lowest settings. but on mine its like not even running

Well the rest of the computer does factor into the equation as well. The CPU may not work as hard as the GPU, but it will still be strained. There are other things as well.

derp the things i have right now is better then what my dad had in 2007 everything

wow I just looked at your other specs and there is some immense bottlenecking with that GPU. Buy a new one stat.

7300 = mobile gpu
8600 = generation newer entry-level gaming gpu

Nice find. but still too expensive and have to wait about 3 months to get it.
