New GPU or CPU for BO?

My system is a basic built Acer M3203 but with a graphics card:
nVidia GeForce 9400GT
the CPU is an AMD athlon II x2
Now my question is should i buy a new processor or a graphics card?
I have about 300€ I can use on this but i can go over that for XMAS sake

(and buying a new processor would most likely force me to buy a new motherboard so count that in in the pricing)
Do you have any recomendations? CPU, GPU.. any specific modells you can recomend?
(I can run BO on 1200x800 resolution and normal graphics on 25-30FPS and no shuttering or FPS drops or lagg and what not)

9400gt Sucks... minimum is 8600gt, 9400gt is like 8500
should get ermm ati 4890 or 4870 or gtx 460+
prob need to upgrade processor too
u cud prob upgrade both and would go over a bit of 300 euros

when im inside buildings i get constant 91fps coz its capped when outside in snowy conditions i get 60+fps

Your Graphics Card is real bad...
And Quad-Core will be better aswell.

lol @ everyone that thinks a quad is the automatic answer.
The majority if not all of the Athlon II X2's are AM3 socket (I havnt seen one that isnt) so this one should fit your motherboard:

And then get rid of the 9xxx series of nVidia. Get:

Instead. that will stop a lot of bottlenecking from just upgrading one part, and between those two you will spend around $200. Search around for more, but thats just what I would use.

Thanks to everyone who helpt, im gonna be sure to look into some of the suggestions you gave me and btw CanYouRunIt (google the program) the test i peformed gave the the result that i failed because of my CPU...... so thanks for giving me suggestions for better PC build!

athlon x2 is outdated since 5 years using the old 939 socked
you need to buy a new mothboard as well because there is no any better cpu for your current motherboard
you can get for 300$ a cheap motherboard with am3+ support and a amd phenom2 x4 cpu.
your graphic card its not that fast but its not needed to change it if you has the quad core.
you can updated it later after you has more money e.g HD 6850/70 or a HD 4870

pentium D its not a pentium 4 pentium D means for dual core ( its the first intels dual core and also like 2x athlons x2 )

And the 939 socket was designed for the Athlon 64 X2's not the Athlon II x2's. The Athlon II runs on a AM3 socket.
