I still dont really see a point to all of this, it doesnt really do anything to gameplay and well it just doesnt look good, ill give you that its never been done before so yeah, but on the other hand everything displayed could be done with texture modding, it would just take a long time, Ill still thank ya tho.

I was wondering though.. if you incorporated zoom and crosshair, you would have a crosshair shaped zoom..?

Blindly copy-pasting code will not work. You need to understand the logic, which isn't that hard because there isn't that much there.

And no, not all of the things you can do with shaders you can do with just texture changes. The Sobel for example, would not have the same effect if you replaced all of the textures in game with a sobel filtered ones.

If done right you can have your zoom with the crosshair over it.

tried this on another install of Win7 Ultimate 64bit with all updated drivers and stuff, still didn't work XD

y is it there is no shader.rez and its just zoom.rez,crosshair.rez,inverse.rez,and sobelmix.rez

...because they are named after what each effect does.
You rename the effect you want to shader.rez .

lol i just got that right before u told me lol. can u tell me wat fx/dtx files are for whicheffect so i can inject them to make it all in one

They all use the same file, that is why you can only use one at a time.
