Not quite right. He tagged 105(?) frames each with a single ALT_FIRE_KEY.
If you look the 32bits before ALT_ , they are '0C 00' , this is the length of the string that follows, 12 chars = "ALT_FIRE_KEY". There is also the keyframe position which also increasing at a rate of about '1F' every frame.
So this is a RoF increasing mod?

But who doesn't already know how to do this? Now that everyone has drigien's converter, I don't see how this is a secret anymore.
Implying that we couldn't do it before yoda?
How do you think I made some of my Knife mods?

I did it without his converter. I use HEX to mod, I use the converter to learn where to write in new code. If I used the converter, this would be too easy.

Of course you could do it before. It's just that I don't see why he was treating it like some big secret.

Harder does not mean better. When there is an easier way to do something, I don't see a reason to do it the harder way. Of course anything (that isn't protected) could be edited using hex, but for many things it is much easier to use widely available programs. For example, I could do a texture mod with a hex editor, but there is really no point in spending hundreds of hours doing some simple overlay when it can be done in photoshop in a few minutes.

I spent 15 minutes making this using a professional program, and I won't use the converter to *make* my mods, because I don't like it. It makings modding too simple, to easy and basic, so I make mods my own way. I have my standards, you have yours
