For what it stands for, the fact that it represents a group thats main ideology was slavery and is used by many many hate groups (skinheads) now a-days as a symbol of White Supremacy.
I would say if it's used to spread hate, then Yes, but if it's used to say they are from the south and the southern culture, then no.
sounds reasonable, i think as a design point of view it looks cool...but sides that im not a giant fan becasue its usually used as a hate symbol in our school by retrded white supremicists.

That was kinda what I was trying to say ... the flag itself isn't racist, it's the associations with it that are

no it's not.
so,the swastika was used by the Germans as a flag.
it was a greek symbol known as gamadion(four Γ)
it was also used by the romans,and most likely originated from Mesopotamia
for most people it's a sumbol of the Nazis.but before that,it had nothing to do with such creatures.
I think it's the same for the flag of the south.
