xD(SOLVED)Spraying
Spraying is when you do not necessarily aim at your opponent but instead simply hold down your mouse button in the general direction of the enemy and hope for the best. "Sprayer" weapons are weapons that release bullets in quick succession such as M12's , Uzis, And the M60, these weapons may be used in others manners as well but it is typical to use their bullets in quick bursts of sprays.
I hope this helps you with the terminology.

Spraying is constantly firing at your opponents without focusing on accurate bursts or single shots (as opposed to Evelyn's definition of shooting "in the general direction of the enemy and hope for the best" - some guns are just better used as spray weapons - mainly SMGs and some rifles on close / medium range).
Well.
