Resizing Models?

Is it possible to Resize when Model Swap, if possible how? Mind telling please? Ill gift 1 Grey Hi sec and MYST-G.

not to sure if possible only guess would be get the modle down to a .3ds file then resize (pretty much redo the whole gun) but not sure hope i helpd

You can use my ltb converter, than use ModelEdit to scale the model.

Just open the converted ltb with ModelEdit and file->compile, there should be an option in the compile dialog for the scale.

(This is off the top of my head, and I could just be remembering this wrong..)

You go to transition.. on model edit after u convert it. and u translate the model up and forward. It depends on the weapon for the amount of times u do it. Ive done the L96A1 to Black Magnum and resized it :P one of the first things me and MindFuck did with model edit lol. Oh and save it as the PVMLA..

ill try it when i get to my friends house. if it works ill tell you to pm your CA ign if you have one.

If you move the gun around with model edit. The gun In game becomes black.

No it doesnt. Lol its cos when moving the translation you have to move it in the same place on all animations.

No, It was the model export that had the scaling that I was thinking of, not the compile stage. Meh, it's been like 5-6 years since I used it and was at work so I couldn't check.

There are various dimensions you can change. I haven't read about them yet but one of them might have a scale-relation that could be used.

Other than that you either have to know what you are doing and write something to hex the values, or import into a 3D program to change and export back to ltb.

If I ever get time to work on my editor it will have an option for this.
