Grooveshark, its legit and you can dl music off of it if you have the proper programs installed.

i use ipod.

Just use Last.fm. It has a desktop app and stuff, plus you don't have to pay.

Probably not.

It might have a system tray menu in Windows, since it has a menu item in OS X.
