1. There are no 'vip' -as you put it, for VB
2. Vb is the worst possible language to be coding in, a scripting language is a better choice.
3. Go and start coding in Cpp or else C# (which has better habits then vb, not that it's any different deeper down)

Seriously guys, Microsoft is poisoning the world of computers by forcing their own standards though everyone's throats, stop being part of this junk and migrate to another language.

Microsoft is systematically forcing their own standards and thereby closing the market for smaller yet better and more potent players to only prolong their own market monopoly. I'm glad that Microsoft is about to be crushed by google.

If I ever decided to learn D3D, you will not be able to speak a word. I've seen many superb 3D applications in VB.NET !! So, get your facts straight kid. + Google Chrome [Google's own browser] is developed in MS VC++. So ya, MS is going to be crushed by google. /fp

microsoft's language bound to .net are in the top most used programming languages, do you think google will completely crush them in one blow? i think not. well C# and vb atleast are in the top most used, and i think thats enough

id like to know how and why google will crush MS anyways

Derp, VB is only a tad less powerful than C++.
I've known people who have made aimbots, chams, etc in VB.

Moar people hating on VB. If you don't like the language, stay the fuck out of the section. Haters gunna hate, do it someplace else

Actually the Most used language is Java. (I'm not saying that java is better or w/e, just saying the most used according to TIOBE)

And with Android OS using JAVA apps... Maybe it will be used even more. Dunno tho..
Objective-C is being used quite a lot this last year too.
