Modding?

Anyone made a breakthrough? I managed to extract sound files but that's it..

.i3Pack files seem to have a lot of relevance to The Sims 3.. and does everyone else have run a check before they start the game? That's gonna put a stop to modding without some sort of bypass...

Need an i3Pack extractor.. so far haven't found one. i3Play works for sound though..

I tried model swapping..

If you do it after the check it will make you check again.

So i tried it immediatly after a press start.

I still had my old gun.

So it loads those files asap after you hit start.

Gonna need some one to code a game launcher that doesnt do checks.

Hmm... so it's possible. I tried to make myself into a T-rex, why are there T-rex's?

I was extracting sounds
then I clicked play
and heard a fucking T-rex roar

well i modded the cursor file (Go me!) and re saved before and after file check but there was no change in game....=(

Sounds like it's gonna be hard to bypass, but I don't know much about that side of things..

I think those are hacks? I know in Point Blank you can get Dual Kriss Super V hacks. I think it changes your gun to the Dual Kriss S.V's. Like that crossfire hack where you can change your gun to another gun.

Sounds like a mod to me
