Map Mods to reduce lag?

Was wondering if anyone had map mods that would reduce lag, such as less textures to load and what not that causes game lag

just delete fx.rez and textures.rez

I delete FX.rez game crashes.

Don't delete fx rez lol, u can delete textures.rez tho
