stupid error
hi just got back into hacking in c++, made a simple dll hack.

this is just solitaire... i cant seem to get any hacks to work... i got a new computer thats got win7 x86, i think that this is the problem. i used to hack on my old xp fine.... the addy is from CE , its not wrong.

I was trying to hack a source game, but it wasnt working so i rolled back to an easy game

Okay that's why I was confused as to why it was named SV_CHEATS.

Anyway let's see. Two more question.... are you injecting as soon as the process starts up?
And what was it supposed to do?

no, not injecting when it starts up. i think the problem has to do with my OS.

Well your gonna want to do that. Most of these injectors hook the LoadDLL Function, and if that func is already called, before you inject hooking it after is not gonna help much.

its not the problem, trust me. i just tried injecter b4 and after. worked on XP. p.s do you have win 7?

Nope, btw you do know that the solitaire on xp may not be the same one as on Win7?

the point is that i cant seem to be able to edit the memory or create the thread on win 7 but i can on win xp. the source game in question i could hack on my xp, i cant on my win7.

There's really not much difference between Xp and Win7, It should work on both. It's possible your injector simply doesn't work on Win7. But idk. I have a feeling we're missing something. =/

ok well i finnaly got it to work, and it was a bitch, tip to all win7 users use stealth inject, thats what i had to do

So it wasn't your coding, but your injector. :3

the problem is not gone, it does not work with all games (the injector)
