1. The players hitting the bars are REALLY dumb. (I mean SERIOUSLY! After 1 m32, and you're on LOW HP, you should retreat and recover.) Thus, making them REALLY easy targets to kill.

2. Its a set up, the zombies are planted there to die.

3. That guy is skilled, combined with his Specialist weapons.
