i still have the fullscreen problem

If you realy cant, i think its a problem of hardware.

He doesn't mean fullscreen, he means widescreen. And the problem is that the game isn't stretched fit the larger native resolution.

It's not a HW problem, which gfx card do you have? Did you update the drivers?

Forgive my mouse skills, it's hard to circle things at 4k dpi with 1:1 movement.
