Need help..

I need to make something for school.
Its about social networks, like facebook, myspace, twitter etc.
I need to describe the differences between all kinds of social networks, reasons why people use them etc.
Someone feels like helping out?

Well, most of the sites that are like that is mostly about connecting with friends

It's about keeping in touch with friends/family, maybe it was created for people that couldn't see their friends/relatives for some time, and instead of chatting with eachother using FaceBook and such. (Blogs)

Could you say for once something useful?

I honestly cant even see what the big deal over them is in the first place.

Maybe it has to do with the way technology is advancing and opening up new ways for people to communicate and keep in touch, as well as meet new people.

Need help..
