need some assistance..

been saving up for some dr dres
got 110$ atm - need 200$

on another forum, there is a competition for SOTM and the winner wins a 50$ amazon gift card. [$199 on amazon for Dr Dre Solo HD (RED) LE]

i'm asking for help/tips/anything that will give me the upper edge to acheive my goal

i'm not saying i want you to do the sig for me, i just need some ideas and advice on how to improve.

this is the render given:

deadline is 23rd Jan. any ideas for starters?

That's a crap render, no offence to whoever is holding the comp.

For such a shitty render, you're gonna need to make something that'll work without needing any flow. I recommend getting a stock and creating some sort of photo-manip piece.

Just my opinion though. I have no idea what'd go well with that sort of render.

i tried adding some sharp C4Ds to it..
just makes it look shit..

You'll have to listen to Doc on this one...A stock is the best way to go.

you mean combining that render with a stock to create some sort of scene or something like a theme so everything will flow?

rather than just chucking in effect or someth ?

Depends if the stock has a focal, if so you wouldn't need a render. That one posted though you could borrow some effects from perhaps.
