[Solved]server is for low ping players?

anybody knows how to reduce my ping?i get an error on every server that the server is for low ping players only

Close other programs, and it will better I suppose

open port in router/Firewall

depends on your internet connection
just close stuff that uses internet like xfire/msn/steam

and you can also just play an other server

You have high ping

depends on allot of things, not just your own connection but your location in relation to the server , traffic levels if it's during high useage times either where you are or the server is..

We sometimes get Russians trying to play on servers that right next to lake Ontario... 300-600 pings in some cases.. this is NOT going to be fixed by opening a port in your firewall, this is simple physics. Play on servers that are closer to you, create one with a few friends or talk to a local computer shop and have them set one up from older parts. pitch in a few obols maybe to make it worthwhile.
