CD-Key help?

I have a legit cd key and cd of call of duty 4 modern warfare. but i uninstalled call of duty 4 and now i want to reinstall but i lost my cd key. is their anyway to get the cd key from the cd itself or get the cd key off my computer? also the activision folder is completely deleted from my computer.

you can't get your cdkey on your cd.

dit you checked already regedit?

open regedit.exe
the key should be inside: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Activision/Call of Duty 4/codkey/1234

not sure if Activision removes the key after you uninstalled the game

yeh i already checked there but the activision folder is uninstalled so there is no call of duty folder

thanks though

no there is no way, i wish activiation does same thing as EA, were you can put ur key in EADM and it stays on your account
