I got an Xbox 250 GB console and Im having an extremely hard time configuring my network. I tried the help site and nothing is working.

There is a big X inbetween the Xbox 360 and Bars.

i dont see a big X

Means you are unable to connect to the wireless network

how do i fix this

u need to buy Microsoft Wireless N Network Adaptor, but it cost around 100$ or u connect it wirelessly

it comes with a wireless thing smart ass

Are you sure your connection with the right Internet?

He has the new generation, it doesn't require the adapter.
You sure your information is correct? SSID, WiFi password, etc.

Well first off I need to ask you what xbox version are you using the brand new one? Because that has a new built in wireless adapter. My suggestion is calling your isp - (internet service provider) and asking them to reset your modem and telling them that you are having problems connecting to your internet from your xbox.

Also check to see if you have
:Wirless internet
:Wireless accessibility on your xbox

How to fix:
Take a bat
Hit ur xBox
Throw it out
Buy a new one

Oh god..

1) When you search for networks, does it locate any networks, or does it show none?
2) Are you sure your router is XBOX Live compatible? Some are not.
3) Are you positive you entered in your WEP / WPA password security key in correctly?
