[Help]Fake Login
heey i made a Fake login
so you get others login
I gave it to my friend and he could see my password i used my gmail
can someone help me with encrypte so it can't get decrypt?
Use obfuscation,
Eazfuscator.NET is free and easy to use, Simply drop your .vb or project and it will obfuscate the source for you.

There are better ones out there, if you have VB Pro + there is a built in obfuscator (Dotfuscator Community Edition)
Nextgen1, isn't scamming disallowed ?

No Scamming of any kind. (Permanent Ban)
No keylogging or otherwise hacking members of the forums. (Permaban)
Taken From: Forum Rules

I am willing to help but I am sure this stuff is not allowed.
if I use that easfuscator
can i be sure that no one can crack my email again?
i am not releasing giving this things
just asking for something

and i don't use keyloggers on you or hack you
Well, ok. But I don't wanna take the risk of getting banned. I'll leave it to the mod.
and you can't get banned for helping me
The reason this is accepted is the code we are helping with is not malicious by intent, he could have avoid telling us what he was making and just asked how to protect his code, if the application is released here or if he asks for help on scamming, then it is a different story.

Borderline, but accepted.
yeah...
it was stupid of me to tell it was a fake login but
if i drag that project into that program
can i be sure i don't get hacked again?
If the application is decompiled and it is obfuscated the viewable source will be wrong.

Obfuscators replace source with "fake source"

Even the worst ubfuscator does it's job well.

Always test though, Obfuscate your source, then decompile it with (free)Redgates Reflector, it will open the source , look at it and be sure it is safe.
ok thanks
i gonna try it out
Obfuscate your strings. For example, declare them as a encrypted string and decrypt them in memory, otherwise anyone can disassemble your app and find all the literal strings in there.

lol if he has access to the code and string and can literally use the same method to decrypt used on the encrypted string. What's the point...?

Yes you have more work, but still.. He can do it easily.
Agree with Brinuz. Obfuscating strings yourself will only help when the complete application is obfuscated with some software making the strings twice as hard to read.

if you say that, then what is the point of ANY protection, when the protection can be removed in the end?

The point of protection is tondeter and make more difficult dissassembly. Its the same here.
