mod help...

For the mods the instructions always say put it in the directory but my minecraft doesnt have a directory and if it does i have no idea where in my computer...

Go to start>Run

type in:

%appdata%

then hit enter. there will be a folder called .minecraft. Thats what you want. I have heard its different for Vista/7, but my friend has vista and he types %appdata% and it works so there should be no difference.
