Collab Battle
A collab battle is just like a normal battle except you and one other person will work together on the piece. These challenges will be closely watched to make sure all the rules are followed and voting is fair. The following is a description on how the challenges will be held and the various rules that need to be followed.
How to challenge another team
To challenge another team, all you will need to do is make the thread title "Collab Challenge Request" in the title. Then post who you want to challenge in the text box. You may also post a render or stock in this box to shorten the preparation time.
- This thread will be your temporary discussion thread where you will decide what render or stock you want to use along with any other specifications.
How to set up your voting thread
Before you set up this thread you need to have both signatures posted in the previous thread. After that, one member of the 2 teams will make a new thread with both signatures and the team member's names above each signature.
*The poll must be public and must contain 2 options with both members name's in the description.
*All names must be spelled right.
- participants of the challenge are not allowed to vote. If anything looks suspicious we will compare ips.
*if you are a participant using an alternate account you will be disqualified from that match and temporarily halted from challenging anyone.
Rules
To avoid possible problems with inactive members and such this challenge will NOT be a ladder challenge.
[list][*]You may challenge any team on the roster but not back to back. [*]You may decline any challenge but a record will be kept. Not responding will also count as declining. Possible penalties may be enacted.[*]Once the challenge has been accepted you will have 5 days to finish your work.[*]Both members of the team must contribute to the work in some way.[*]Any account of ripping will result in a permanent ban from this challenge.
Any questions or concerns regarding anything above may be left in my inbox, wall or below.
The Ranking System
Instead of having a ladder challenge that is based off of a first come first serve system we will be having a system of ratios. This means that your total wins and total losses will be averaged and you will be ranked upon that average.
In some cases you may be tied with another team. However, if one team declines a challenge and the other team hasn't, the team that hasn't declined will be in the lead.
All teams and scores will be listed below
scores will be listed as: wins-losses-declines

I have no idea how I could even prove that it was random, nor do I need to prove it to you. The whole point of this challenge is not to win but learn from each other and talk about what you think looks better; share your ideas. What's the point of having a challenge if you take some of the better artists and clump them together on one or two teams and then have everyone else.
How bout instead of trying to prove me wrong, which fails any ways because I can always count on you to disagree with me, how bout you try to actually follow along with whats going on. I'm sure if doc had come and said hey the teams are going to be random you would be like okay or at least try and talk to him about it in a dignified way.

I normally use this, and screenshoot it. I'm fine with the teams tbh, seeing as though shift isn't in this one . But just use that for future battles.

Well tbh it didnt happen like that the first time. I actually messed up a few times.
The first time i had two 1's, i dont feel like explaining. Then another time i realized that i had put songkipark on the list twice. The third time everything was fine and that was the outcome.
seriously though, if you can tell me how putting you and sam on the same team will be remotely fair, im all ears. You, him, Ryan, and Songkipark were the only ones who said i want to work with this person.
