Stop Ad After Closing Vindictus

I have found another simple Vindictus mod that anyone can do. This will stop the annoying pop-up after you finish playing Vindictus.

1: Go to C:/Nexon/Vindictus/en-us/
2: Find AdBalloonExt.exe and delete it.
3: Play Vindictus and when you exit the game there will be no pop-up.

I know this is quite obvious but some people probable would find it. I'm just posting this so other people can learn.

Similarly, go to en-us/ media, and delete "Logo.avi" and "Splash.bmp" to shorten loading times.

I tested what s4itox said and it works for me, hack shield says nothing about it and the game just loads. Now we can play vindictus with no ads!

What other things in the /en-us/media folder can we take out that don't really matter and can speed up load time and make things less annoying?

Only MODs and Admin can do that xD and btw The Modder do you know any other things we can delete to load up faster or make somethings less annoying? xD Sorry for repost but you didn't answer xDD

Thanks for helping with that, I didn't know if I could make it a sticky.

And you were asking about things you could remove to speed up loading, I havn't found anything to do that but I have found something else.

I'm not sure what this does exactly but it may be something cool to look into.

I went to my Vindictus directory (C:/Nexon/en-us/) and decided to delete some stuff and see if the game would run. I removed the NMService.exe file and ran the game. It started fine. I tried to log into my account and a little pop-up appeared saying "Failed to log in." But behind the pop-up it had logged me in. I pressed ok on it and it disappeared and I could play the game. I'm not sure of what is happening or of any practical uses of it but it could be fun looking into it.

(Note: The "Failed to log in" message pops up every miunite.)

Go and try it out, all you have to do is remove the NMService.exe file and your done.(This works on the newest 1.18 client)

NMService is the Nexon Messenger Service, which I THINK is used for buddy lists, guild and chats.
