[Help]Hooking and Dll's

Were can I learn how to hook functions, detours, and actually make DLL's?

I read a C++ book but I havent learned that.

Can anyone point me in the right direction

You don't learn from 1 book... That single book doesn't have the entire C++ and what it can do compiled into one =/
