Solution to the public hack

So I had pretty much tried every injector out there and everyway of injecting the DLL into PB and everytime I got an error as soon as PB opened it would cause an error, so I figured i'd try a different way of opening PB and injecting manually and sure enough, it worked not sure why this is however.

Steps:
1.Download PerX or any other injector that can manually inject

2.Open the injector and select the process and DLL (Obviously) then minimize it

3.Open PBlackout.exe from your directory folder (Not the shortcut on your desktop) Do not hit inject after it first opens, it tries to load PB but doesn't so it loads the launcher instead

4.Once the launcher pops up hit start on the launcher

5.Click back onto your injector and click Inject as soon as the launcher dissapears

Sorry it isn't very detailed I'm a little high right now if you need further help PM me and I will try to help you out.

Ermm, I'm sorry but this method does not work for me either...... But thanks for posting this solution, I hope other people will be able to use the hack because of you

No problem I'm actually beginning to think it all has something to do with the injection timing because even with this proceedure I'm only getting it to work 75% of the time, I tried using OMFGZ injector so that I could freeze the process as soon as it opens up and then tried injecting but it had the same outcome, game crashed. But atleast seeing as how it still works for me 75% of the time with this method it shows it's not a compatibility issue I'm sure dave will figure out the real cause of this error soon enough though.

doesnt work for me. idk why, but launcher always says i need to check first before i start the game. friggin annoying. also, after i injected, the game crashes and a "Please Wait" notice appears.

Skip the launcher then

so do you have to bypass the check?

No, but that's what I do

i cant skip t3h launcher because after it says i need to check before i start, it disables the start button >_>

Run a check.
Then open file location.
Right click PBlackout.exe (Not PBLauncher.exe)
Make a shortcut
Right click the shortcut
Click Properties, and go to the shortcut tab
Where it says target, change it to:
"C:\SG Interactive\Project Blackout\PBlackout.exe" 1

Not so hard......

yep. followed all the steps, but it still doesnt work. just crashes.
