Windows Update Ping Raise

Just downloaded an update last night for Win7 Proff. and now my ping went from 60 to a constant 120-220. Normally these things fix themselves with a bit of tinkering, but I was just wondering if anyone has had the same situation.

Windows update = ghey..

find a thread by jabuuty or someone that lowers your ping by using regedit.. helped me a ton

already tried regedit and all that, either I did it wrong (most likely I didn't) or is just didn't do sh*t.

Not my fault, it was one of those automatic updates when you shut down your comp.
I never do those manual ones, they always screw things up.

I deleted my windows update from the folder

Reinstall it.

windows updates are good for a old pc

I normally never do the updates of Windows. It just gives you useless things and ur pc become more laggy... So Yeah your ping could have been modified by the Update.

Well what do I delete or where do I go to uninstall updates?

Well,Windows Update shouldn't effect the ping.
The ping is only related with the internet.
Are you download some kind of file,or the update didn't download correctly?

You really don't know what you are talking about do you? Updates can totally mess with your connection...

I know because it can be that some settings are changed.but like I told you,Ping is related with the internet although some programs can slow the internet rate.
