Problem with HGW the Xtrap

There could be a plethora of reasons regarding why your HGW file will not load, and here are a few of the most common solutions (Which I hope work with you);

1. Your current Anti-Virus program is reading HGW and its components as threats to your computer. Solutions - Temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and Uninstall Crossfire. Continue to keep it disabled as you Reinstall from the Z8games Website. When fully Re-installed please add Crossfire to your Anti-Virus's Exceptions List.

If you do not know how to add a program to your exceptions list please use a search engine - Such as Google.

2. If that solution did not apply to you or even work, It may be that a virus is causing HGW to not open - It could detect this as a file corruption. Solution - You need to run a thorough Virus Scan on your Computer - I highly Recommend;

3. A way that I read that helped some people, But I don't quite understand how is this;

Run Crossfire normally
When it gets stuck open Task Manager
Go to "Processes" and right click the HGW file
Click "End Process" Now Re-start Crossfire again.

4. I read several people saying that the day after they receive this error it works - So if this has only been happening recently and nothing works for you - You may want to retry.

5. Seems that some server loading problems with Crossfire could cause this problem to occur, If this is happening to several people the problem could be with HGW or Crossfire itself, if nothing works at all - Take action - Send a Support ticket with the information you gave us -
