There are several programs that can trigger this error;
1. The most common problem is that Your Anti-Virus or Firewall is conflicting with Crossfire's normal gamer performance. You may want to temporarily disable these programs to see if this is the issue - If it is , Please add Crossfire to your programs "Exceptions List" Or consider switching to another program.
2. Some people have problems with Xfire and Crossfire running simultaneously - Try disabling Xfire when in game. Alternative voice chatting programs;
3. If you were using any Bypass or hack program with Crossfire - It is possible that Xtrap detected this as an abnormality. Please stop the use of such hacks or bypasses and await a new release.
4.
[GM]Saidin says:
Lastly, Xtrap has been known to conflict with SOME video capturing and voice communication software. Skype, Fraps etc. may not run properly or conflict with the game when running. Make sure to try and close those extra programs down when running CF. Again, as a test to see if the game will function without them.
5. Last and finally, As stated above you may want to try a clean re-install, although I highly recommend this be your last option;
6. If none of these solutions of any others provided seem to work for you, it is always best to contact Z8games Support with full details on your issue.
Include;
1. Error given
2. Your Computer's Specifications
3. What you have tried already
- Have a lot of patience when taking this route.
Press Alt Control Delete.
Go to Processes and make the list by your username.
Delete all your unwanted programs,you should leave explorer.exe and another program.
If this still happen re-boot your pc.
Try run CCleaner and restart your computer.
Worked a few times here, if don't work try turn off your AV and Firewall.
first try reinstall cf if it dosent working try CClenaer
Try closing most of the things in your tool bar. That has helped me before.
If you can't find the program causing this manually ... Smartclose will close ... well ... everything you don't need
