General Section Based on posts.

my suggestion is open up a second general for people with 1k or 1.5k posts and above. while keeping the regular one open to both.

That is quite a good idea, since it´ll reduce the spam Threads for the ´real´ users. On the other hand, General is for everyone so make it like this:

General #1: Open to everyone, everyone can post.
General #2: Open to everyone, 1K+ may post.

Like 400 people have over 1k posts ... I would make it even more elite ... 2k anyone?

Make it 3,110 or more
I think people with less than the required amount of posts should be able to view the Section.

i say we make the cut off 2-3k. shows dedication. or the amount needed is that year (2012 posts needed for 2012...haha)

i dont see why not, but it'd be nice to have like a haven from all the bull put out by newbies. plus if they see it they might comment on it general...i think they should know about it, but not be able to view...gives em something to shoot for.
