Now, to modding. HackShield does not do anything with it! I can tell you that for sure. If there are any checks, it is an internal game check - HackShield is not responsible (and will never be responsible) for checking the integrity of game files. HackShield is an addon, and it will never have the integration of something internal like a file check.

think of Combat Arms as a gun...
you want to add an ATTACHMENT to it, like a custom scope
you add the scope via socket in model edit
it doesn't show in game
because you need to edit attachment.txt in attachments for the new attachment
but you can't
thus the attachment not showing in game but it will if you open it in model edit
if you don't get that then run along
Hackshield is an
add-on (or as i called it above, an attachment) for Combat Arms to detect hacks only. It will
never detect mods (mods being what i called the added scope above) because its an external (attachment) program that doesn't ever run again
except when you first launch CA
