Drawing a sphere in D3D?
Basically, I remember seeing something on UC where someone was drawing a sphere where a grenade launcher's (or whatever it was) rocket was going to hit. So it would predict where it would land and it will draw a circle there.

Now what I am wondering is how I would draw a sphere (could be just a 2D circle) knowing the coordinates of the center of the circle along with the radius and diameter. I want to use this for my area denial telekill so it has a visual representation on how far the range is for it.
You will need some knowledge of D3D to create the sphere.

pDev->SetStreamSource(...);
pDev->DrawIndexedPrimitive(...);

With this , you can use the same 3D geometry coordinates that the game uses.

Hmmm... DIP huh?
Msdn.

D3DXCreateSphere()
Using a mesh
isn't there a function on the crosshair thread?
