Didn't we have this discussion as well? If you want compensation in the form of rep, I don't have a problem with it, if you are doing the work, then you "deserve" it (in a sense) but what is stopping you from not doing the work.
Do the work first, then hope they pay, it's a small price to pay, also if you don't do your job, I say they negative rep you for not keeping a promise.
