Out of CoD1 and 2, 2 is the better. CoD 1 is a little more for the hardcore people, and you would probably get your ass handed to you over and over. 2 Has more players, and not all of them are really good. Plus 2 had a lot of improvements fun wise over CoD1, which was more or less just a competitive shooter.

If anything, I would get CoD4 instead. I know a thing or two about config editing and could work it so that your comp could run it. You would be amazed at what you can do with configs.
