Everything opens in "Notepad".

Hi, i've got this problem and u can maybe help me.

Once, i accidently opened a Crossfire Injector as "Notepad"
Now every injector i download opens in Notepad, can u help me how to do it open in .dll or something a proper program..

Please PM me or Comment i suggest PM.

Did you tried another injector?

You can change this by right clicking on your injector and choosing "Open With" you can also (to permanently change it) use this tutorial on setting default programs (look for the injectors) ;

(You may want to just disable its default program Ect..)

Also make sure - when you extract the file you are not changing the file extension type

But, when it has to do with the Injector itself, how do i edit it to a .exe file.
I dont think the "cf.dll" file matters if its opening in notepad or whatever, the .exe file is imporant, so i wanna know how to do a file .exe.

Any help would be appericated

When you extract the injector it should come out as a .rar files - You need to open this with Winrar and properly extract it. When you extract the file from Winrar it should already be in the extension it was originally intended to be.

You should not need to "Change" anything to .exe it should already be in the correct extension. If it is not please tell me what it does show up as.

Ok this is what i've done.

I dont even know if this causes that my hack doesnt works or its just my pc, but it worked yesterday.

anyways, when i download the MPGH-injector, i got 3 files. Settings, MPGH-injector.exe and cf.dll.

What i did was i opened the cf.dll in notepad, and now every injector i download opens in notepad, every but the MPGH-injector.exe

I think cause i edited it all to notepad or w/e, the mpgh-injector.exe wont work today.

To my cousin, it works fine, i've extrached it and all, when i run it the MPGH site opens as needed, it should work.. but it doesnt.

Okay you never need to opens .Dlls - they usually automatically open to Notepad, There is no need to open them what so ever you simply inject them,

Now to answer your ,exe opening with Notepad, This tutorial may help you;

In the future please do not do anything crazy with your injectors or extractions, follow a tutorial if you need We all make simple mistakes I hope this helps fix it!

Thanks for helping me out, i just wanna know..

one the site it says: 1. Open Command Prompt by typing command in RUN dialog box.

2. Now provide following command:

cd\windows

Shall i go on "Start" and search for cmd, open it and type command

after that im supposed to type cd

dows in there but i cant do slash in the cmd box.

That's a bit odd because I am able to type in a slash perfectly

Make sure you are typing

this slash \

and not this slash /

Does it give you an error when you type it or does it not show up at all?

Could you check what my problem is via TeamViewer, if you possibly got it downloaded, if not, i'll forget abt it and play legit, ty.

Not annoying at all - I choose and love to help others - I unfortunately do not use Team Viewer though (I have my own personal things against it). If none of my suggestions or those presented by Jigsaw in the other post work, this may be a different problem altogether - Or it may just start working again one day (Don't you hate how this sometimes happens?)

Also did I mention you may want to use a program to scan and optimize your system for any errors?

Just a note before you download Tuneup utilities; it will keep running after the trial period, which is annoying.

It's a great program just remember to properly un-install it after your trial period.

I've installed the Total PC scanner, it's scanning some files now.. Is that the right program?

EDIT: Total PC Care,, not Scanner!

EDIT2: I've done scanning, should i "optimize" aka delete the errors?

Theres one file error that says "~please do not delete files from this folder" what shall i do.
