cant play minecraft

i have a problem, when i play minecraft i get a black screen. before i got the "done loading" error, so i install minecraft 1.3 (cracked) and it worked. but now i keep getting a black screen about 4-5 minutes when i play.

my os windows vista. p.s i was able to play normally without the black screen when i didnt get the "done loading" error.

this mite be because of the fact that the servers are down right now... well the site isnt working.

You should try and update your java, that fixes a lot of problems.

If updating java doesnt work, consider reinstalling the game. Just redownload wherever you got it from, and then backup your saves folder, and overwrite. If you bought the game, I am pretty fure if you delete the minecraft folder, and run the game and sign in, it will re download all the stuff you need.

@derpderp If you bought the game, just delete the bin folder and version. This way you don't have to back up saves.
