Engine LT guide

i cant find a guide to manually finding the engine address.. I've downloaded quite a few bases, so if or when my hack comes, i'm going to have one hell of a list of credits.

kotentopf's base has probably been the most helpful, with sig scans and IsIngame function, but i think they need updated, since i can get my hack to show up, but i can't get the hacks to work. The menu shows, in lobby and game, without crashing, but turning the hacks on, nothing happens.

0x484BC0 = No crash + No hacks //LORD FANCINGTON, Fk127, Reimy, and others
0x00485E10 = Crash //comando2056
0x45DDC0 = Crash //whit
0x485DD0 = Crash //Alessandro

I am ProElite15 on a other site do not credit me give credit to LORD FANCINGTON, Fk127, Reimy, and others. I just leech the addies only to others sites and give credit to the coders who find the addies. here is the proof:

i dont know what you mean, but my termonology is that if you're not logged in, you can't DC lol.. i say crash because i didnt get to the login screen.

yea i read that, and it wasn't very helpful. its got good detail from where you start, but you dont start at the beginning lol.

also i tried that with a fresh dump of engine.exe and i must have the wrong version of IDA because when you said to right click, "find reference to" wasn't there

using IDA Pro 5 (free).. only cuz i couldn't find a keygen or any sort of crack for IDA 6 or IDA Pro Advanced.

i got the error that olly couldn't start the file

0x00485E10 still works for some commands I believe. Nx Chams do work but some result in DC.

Well, using olly, normally it'll throw up an error or two to start with, and then you just press F9 a couple times till it loads.

I think it's the error when Olly says "Cannot start ....\Engine.exe"

thats the one.. went through kernel detective, and pe explorer, still says the same thing.

Opening the engine in IDA always works for me.
