So I wanted to edit my CF frags in Sony Vegas pro9
and these are the problems:
-I can't import .mov files
-I can't import .avi files
I can use sony vegas functions
SO i thought the problem is with my codecs
so I reinstalled them and:
-still no .mov
-I can import avi, but the preview screen is like somebody ate my clip and pooped it out
rendering quality: ***********
-So please help me solve it, I want to edit my frags, create a CF movie , whatever.
Or can you give me the latest codec pack download link? can't seem to find it.(mega pack or sum)

try reinstalling sony vegas

what version you got? Get a new one.

Importing avi worked, but when I reinstalled windows (viruses FTW) and reinstalled Sony Vegas, this happened
You can't believe how many times did I reinstall it.

Isn't a problem with your installation, Vegas can't recognize some video files, like .avi, you must record on another format (.wmv or .mp4) and try again.

since I reinstalled windows, SV could do these features for me

Well, did you changed something on your configuration or video codecs? Because it's "normal" users of Sony Vegas can't edit their works on .avi.
I would recommend you convert this .avi file to High Quality in .mp4 or .wmv, or you can use another program to edit this, but I don't recommend.

I reinstalled the codecs, and Its better now but still not working

If still don't working I can't even know a solution about your problem, you can try convert it.

reinstall the program ?

After you recorded you'r frags, save it to you'r Destkop.
Open sony vegas, and drag it into there.
If that^ don't work, try an video convertor.
