dfu mode help.

i haz ipod touch 2g MC model and idk how to get it into DFU mode.
how do i do this?

i shud have explained more.
i put it into DFU mode before (twice to be exact)
and i got to jailbreak it before, but the download for Cydia failed, and i thought it was done, so i hit remove Loader.app. it didnt work, so i restored it.
and it wont go back into it now.

Try downgrading. Its possible if you saved your SHSH,

if not, then youtube. It might give you tips.

Cydia should autosave SHSH

restore your ipod to 4.2.1 and try again

shit this happened to me. dose it load up at all or dose it give you a black screen. Because If You Get the Black Screen Connect your Ipod To Your Computer. Open Itunes Hold Nome + Lock button For About 10 - 20 second's and it should start up again.

i starts up. i dont get a black screen.
and no matter how long i hold Home + Sleep, i only get 2 options. "Turn Off" and "Cancel".

Did you try the above firmware restore?
