Klaus solo

Been running him solo for about 2 days now im surprised i haven't been banned i know they manually ban but do they just just set your toons name somewhere and ban you on a random day lol?
i want to know there method. D<

I've been solo'ing Blood Lord on hero for three days now, and I'm still not banned. I'm worried though, since they said they were looking into detecting hackers using the console.

At least people are smarter now and are not trolling people with friendly fire.

I solo'ed Klaus and Blood Lord hero mode for about 2 weeks now, and still no ban. I'm even farming mat's in Klaus to COD to GF for 1k (just to be subtle about it).

My personal advice is use it in moderation on a daily basis if you hack mad, its I think, the best way right now.

yeah i mean im not like super crazy hacking i level about 1 or 2 times when coins come out i used monster base damage at 1 and -70 damage for god mode
im finding the bare minimum for hacking so that way i have less likely chance to get caught but hey hacking is hacking lol

Don't we all?

They have no method other than reports. Otherwise they wouldn't bother to tell people to report hackers.

Anyone who got banned doing solo is probably lying because they don't want you to hack and cause more deflation.

sky makes a good point solo play would be inpossible to read unless they got your dungeon times on paper somehow

Well people have theorized that they somehow can obtain our logs, but as of now they do not have the time or manpower to read them all. If they find a way to automate the process, then we might be screwed. In the meanwhile, you can always delete the logs or block NMservice.exe.

Our logs are nearly meaningless. You presume that no logs are kept on Nexon's servers. That presumption is extremely naive.

I expect there are 2 reasons we haven't all been banned.
1) If anything, hacking helps their bottom line. We increase demand for crimson tokens, provided the nonhacking majority are not cognizant of enough of our activity to stop playing in disgust.
2) They'd probably have to get permission from the parent company to take dramatic steps like implementing a roboban functionality, or wait for the parent company to write the code for them. Considering the likelihood of intense community pushback if it's implemented wrong or has a large number of false positives such functionality would almost have to go through a very extended review period.

Logs? what logs, and where can we delete it? sorry i'm noob.

OMG!! Why are people here so nice! I never heard of such a thing

.... but anyways you guys are good at making me feel safe... I think it's just my over cautiousness drives me nuts.

As far as i know, they have logs in your vindictus folder and if you read nexon's agreement they get the privilage to search your computer file at will. best chance you have is to hack in moderation and most importantly delete your log files or put a password on the folder :P. remember people on your friends list can see when you level up or start a dungeon and may get suspicious when you start a dungeon every 2 minutes or level every 20mins.
