i find protoss to be the easiest race to learn, and operate, but,
is there any other way to defend a roach rush besides a rush 2 2 immortals?
its a bitch to make them that fast, well, atleast to fend off 6 roaches

Block your ramp with sentry shields and outrange them with stalkers. You can also sort of kite them with stalkers. It helps to make somewhat of a wall at your ramp.

Get sentries and stalkers.

Another tactic might be blocking your ramp with cannons(on top) and putting stalkers and sentries behind that. As soon as the roaches walk up the ramp, just block their escape route. And they'll die in notime.
