Weird Problem
Ok here is the line of code:
Code:
CreateWindow(TEXT("EDIT"), 0, WS_VISIBLE || WS_CHILD || ES_MULTILINE, 50, 50, 100, 25, hwnd,  ID_attended, hInst, lParam);
The problem is the compiler says (syntax error ","). So i check for any extra commas i might have placed, this isn't a complicated line of code for me which is why i am frustrated because i make textboxes all the time. Can someone help, i have narrowed it down to the last parameter, it says that the error is before the last parameter, but there are the appropriate amount of commas. Help is appreciated, Thanks guys.
Code:
WS_VISIBLE || WS_CHILD || ES_MULTILINE
Logical or is an evaluation operator.

Code:
WS_VISIBLE | WS_CHILD | ES_MULTILINE
Cheers.
Oh wow, lol, i am retarded. Thanks so much.

WHOA I STILL Get the same error, idk y. It's killing me lol.
Mind posting the exact error and the portion of the code thats giving you the error ( not just one line of code.. )
here is the exact error:

Code:
 1>c:\users\egmfco\documents\visual studio 2010\projects\church resource\church resource\mainwin.cpp(103): error C2059: syntax error : ','
Post the code please \:
i think something is wrong with my compiler on win7 cuz i went on vista and i compiled and it worked.
Idk, but it would still be cool to see what you tried compiling. I don't think a compiler can hallucinate and think it sees an extra comma or a missing one when it's actually there. \:

Code pl0x.
