The Bible gives hopes, yes it is bullshit in some people eyes, but other there is hopes. A hope for a better future, a better life, they have hope that nobody else gives them. Not even you, can you make pain and suffering go away? Can you help make the person's life better? Some stranger miles away from you? No, you can't, while you can provide somethings, you're not hope, you're another person doing good. A person needs hope at times, that's why there is so many Muslims and Christians.
You atheists believe in your faith, that's cool, the Torah believe in that you can be whatever you want. You're whatever you want to be, I don't care, but you need to stop trashing the Bible or something of that line. I like the Bible because it shows what a person wanted the most: hope. You might not like it, but read it sometimes, it gives you hope that someone is there to take care of you.
I don't care if you disagree with me or ignore what I am saying here, but that's what the Bible does. True, some parts are a little off and wrong, but isn't that give you a reason to smashes it down? What about the parts that gives people hope? I almost killed myself because I felt like I was nothing in the world, I reread the Torah and some professional help as well. The Torah gave me hope that my life will be better in the end and it did, the Bible and the Torah gave people hope.
The Torah gave the Jewish people hope to go back to Israel, to finally have a home.
I'll stop typing, I have a feeling nobody give a fuck what I say or something.
