Okay so guys I have a question.. Since ppl been posting on nexon forums how are the players be able to lunch really hard dungeons boats like in 2mins repeatedly unless they were hacking.. and they are right we are hacking caz we are able to do that well most of us... but here is my question to you... have yall ever get banned bcaz yall lunch hard boats in private mode or public mode but both you are soloing... or yall think one have a higher percentage of getting banned if they were to lunch hard dungeons boats repeatedly in private mode rather than lunching em repeatedly in public mode.. but both are soloing.

I think if you play in private/solo and move the nmservice.exe (chat system) to desktop they cant see you repeating dungons in 2 mins etc so less chance of getting banned

well there will always be people stupid enough to hack in front of other or do such speed boosts, as some one said it already if u use hacks smart like enable a bit of damage dont skip levels complete dungeons in 5-10min(hard ones) u will have LESS chance to get caught but still even if use those hacks smart there WILL BE A CHANCE TO GET BANNED there is no 100% hack free so use them smart and u have less chance to be banned and always check on game and gameguard updates if something is changed do use hacks cause there is probability that they may patched hacks and improved guard.

You're horribly misinformed.

You guys really need to stop spreading false rumors.

As long as you play the game, Nexon knows what you're doing. Don't think that deleting random files will prevent a ban.

The point of eliminating NMService is to prevent your activities being broadcast to your friends list and therefore reduce the chance of getting reported.

Whether disabling NMService actually does what it's advertised to do I don't know. I've never bothered to investigate. I don't hack with a friends list.

hmmm could any one confirm the host file edit method that prevents logs and screenies being sent to nexon?

what is the host file method?

If you did that hen I'm sure there will be a ton of other essential features of the game that will not work.

nope, I'm using it right now, still works because the blockage is rather selective
oh yea for people wanting to try out the host file method
go to system32->drivers->etc open the file host with notepad add in the following lines

127.0.0.1 avatar.heroes.nexon.com
127.0.0.1 gamelog.nexon.com <-Vindictus Log Server
127.0.0.1 avatar.vindictus.nexon.net

host method only disables when ship start screenshots and when you kill boss screenshots this method is used when modding textures but still could help at hacking to. But if a lot of people will start to block screen shoots nexon could notice that shortage of screens and could start to investigate.

Also I'm not sure if the game log target is right.. i mean its nexon.COM thats the korean server..
